Our President
Life is incredibly HARD and it comes at FULL SPEED!
My name is Chuck, and I’m committed to helping equip faith-minded, growth-oriented people who feel ill-prepared, stuck, worn out, or overwhelmed. I want to help them experience a more gratifying & engaging way of ‘living life.’
To live well, to navigate life’s complexities, we’ve got to keep growing in our capacity to build heartfelt relationships with self, others, and God. We’re created to flourish when meaningfully connected to a healthy relational network.
My career spans 5 years in the marketplace as an engineer and 35+ years in pastoral church work. I’ve been married for 36 years, have 4 adult children, and am blessed with 4 grandchildren that call me “Papa C.’ I’m personally acquainted with the ‘high highs’ and ‘low lows’ of this life. I’ve experienced ‘mourning turned to dancing,’ witnessed ‘beauty from ashes,’ and I’ve often been ‘broken, melted, molded, and filled.'
Why ‘spiritual coaching’ now?
Because it’s DIFFICULT to find safe people and safe places to honestly grapple with life’s complexities. Life can feel perilous, confusing, and fragile. Such feelings can undo us, or lead us to lives filled with regret. To live honestly, intentionally, and productively in this broken world, often with wounded hearts ourselves, we must intentionally foster ever-deepening relationships with God, others, and yes, especially ourselves.
Because MOST Christian leaders do not ‘finish well.’ Statistics reveal that the majority of faith-fueled, growth-minded leaders lack safe relational spaces (even within their spiritual communities) to grow deeply with God and others. This results in destructive ‘numb out,’ ‘burn out,’ or ‘flame out’ behaviors.
Because I’m uniquely equipped to shepherd PEOPLE, not things, tasks, or systems. During this ‘last quarter’ of my career, God is calling me to focus my gifts and energies on ‘a few’ rather than ‘the many.’ I look forward to coming alongside others to help them discover all God has in store for them.
